Celebrated cabaret singer Marissa Mulder '07 to perform at Geva Theatre

GeGeneseo alumna Marissa Mulder ’07, who’s been dubbed one of cabaret’s “biggest breakout successes,” will perform two unique tribute shows at Rochester’s Geva Theatre this weekend.

For her show “Marilyn in Fragments,” Mulder interlaced passages from Marilyn Monroe’s diary together with a score of songs by a broad range of writers from the likes of Cole Porter to Nine Inch Nails.  Marilyn will be performed Friday, Jan. 21.

Saturday, Jan 22, Mulder will perform “Tom…In His Own Words,” an homage to singer-songwriter Tom Waits.
