Bridget Pitre ’20 from Sayville NY, and Kelsey Zorn ’20 from Leicester, NY were each selected to receive fellowship awards of $5,000. The fellowship is a one-year grant to be used to defray non-tuition expenses such as room, board, textbooks, and other costs of attending a SUNY institution. Both graduates are returning to SUNY Geneseo for their graduate degrees.

Geneseo alumna Kerri Howell ’97 has been named chief communications and marketing officer, a cabinet-level position. Howell will begin her new role on July 9.

Michael Taberski, EdD, has been named vice president for student and campus life. His appointment, effective July 9, concludes a national search for the cabinet-level position. Taberski will lead the student and campus life administrative team, who are engaged in providing an array of dedicated services that support SUNY Geneseo’s on- and off-campus students.
