SA offers a free shuttle bus to the airport around each of the college's breaks. The shuttle rotates around the Jet Blue schedule and sign-ups begin in the SA ticket office about a month prior to each break.

Now you can keep track of your co-curricular development in student organizations, college committees, internships, as well as your honors and awards. The transcript is an official college document that may prove valuable as you plan your college life and enter the job market. Geneseo Late Knight

SA provides $46,000 to the Late Knight program to support alternative programming on weekend evenings. All students are able to access this money through Late Knight grant proposals located on the Department of Student Life's website.

The SA provides an initial legal consultation based in Geneseo and Dansville at no cost to students. All legal matters are appropriate for discussion. Appointments can be made through the SA office, CU 316, by phone at 585-245-5878 or online using the above link. Most schedules can be accommodated.


Non-Funded Accounts/Banking Services

The SA provides banking services to non-funded student organizations. Services include processing of checks, weekly income balance sheets and tax exempt status.


Student Association Merit Awards For Learning, Creativity, Inclusivity, Civic Responsibility and Sustainability

Recipients of the Student Association Merit Award have demonstrated the core values of Learning, Creativity, Inclusivity, Civic Responsibility, and Sustainability. They have gone above and beyond to manifest themselves as true leaders in the Geneseo community. Whether it be through direct or indirect contact, these students have demonstrated to their peers, the quintessential qualities of an education at SUNY Geneseo. Please see the values statement here. These awards will only be given out in the Spring Semester.

The Student Association (SA) Merit Awards are a collaborative effort of the Undergraduate Student Association and the Geneseo Foundation. All awards are supported by mandatory student activity fees.

All current, full-time mandatory student activity fee-paying students are welcome to apply.  A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 is required at the time of application.

SA employs several student workers who can provide technical support and assistance to a variety of groups on campus. In addition to trained student workers, there is rental equipment available for clubs and organization.

SA operates a "box office" in the union that provides ticket and sales services to all student organizations and runs a consignment sales system for organization fundraisers. Both cash boxes and petty cash are available for on-site sales. Stamps and envelopes are also sold from the office.


Undergraduate Research Grant Program

Each year, the Student Association contributes money to be allocated to students for various research projects. The donations are managed through the Geneseo Foundation and a panel of professors, administrators of students helps distribute the money.


Upstate Escapes

This program, like Late Knight, is a partnership between SA and the Department of Student Life. SA provides thousands of dollars to help provide off-campus entertainment activities at a very cheap price. Past events have included trips to Darien Lake, Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills games, the Escape Room, whitewater rafting, Syracuse basketball games and much more!
