MS in Accounting Scholarships and Assistantships

Scholarships, assistantships, and other opportunities for students in SUNY Geneseo’s MS in Accounting program.

Amount: $500 to $1,000
Criteria: Awarded to a full-time graduate student in the MS in Accounting program. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership skills.

Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo’s MS in Accounting Program and register at least 9 credits per semester.

Amount: $500
Criteria: Awarded to a full-time graduate student in the MS in Accounting program. Recipients must have earned a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 and distinguish themselves in the undergraduate program leading to this study. Preference will be given to students who received their undergraduate degree from Geneseo.
Application Process: Complete the School of Business scholarship application.

Notification: August 1
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo’s MS in Accounting Program. The student should have earned a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2 and distinguished himself or herself in the undergraduate program.

Amount: $1,000-$4,000
Criteria: Demonstrated academic excellence as reflected in undergraduate GPAs
Application Process: No additional scholarship application is needed; simply submit an application for admission

Amount: $2,500
Criteria: Approx. 10 hours of work per week in the Spring semester
Job Description and Application: Provide research assistance to a Geneseo business faculty member for a research project. The research proposal needs to be submitted by the faculty member.

Eligibility: Must be a full-time student enrolled in Geneseo’s MS in Accounting Program with evidence of academic success.

Amount: 12 credits in-state tuition waiver, $4,213.50 stipend per year, plus fringe benefits.
Criteria: The assistantship is awarded to incoming students who will enter the MS program in the fall. Approx. 10 hours of work per week in the fall and spring semesters.
