Yan Zhu Cindy Guan Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $500
Criteria: Awarded to a full time graduate student in the MS in Accounting program. Recipient must have earned a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 and distinguish him or herself in the undergraduate program leading to this study. Preference will be given to students who received their undergraduate degree from Geneseo.
Application Process: Complete the School of Business scholarship application.
Deadline: July 1
Notification: August 1
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo's MS in Accounting Program. The student should have earned a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2 and distinguished himself or herself in the undergraduate program.

John & Stephen Vamossy Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Criteria: Active membership in an organization outside the School of Business. Demonstrated academic success and financial need
Application Process: Complete the School of Business scholarship application and write an essay addressing the importance of a balance between academic success and involvement in activities/ organizations outside the classroom.
Deadline: July 1
Notification: August 1
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo's MS in Accounting Program

Barkman Assistantship

Amount: $2,500
Criteria: Approx. 20 hrs per week in the spring semester
Application Process: A member of the Geneseo Accounting faculty submits a proposal to utilize 1+ students currently in the program and may nominate certain students to serve as Barkman assistants. Upon review by the director and School of Business Dean, selections will be made.
Deadline: January 10
Notification: Spring semester after the student has completed the Fall semester of the program
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo's MS in Accounting Program

School of Business Assistantship

Amount: $5,000
Criteria: The assistantship is awarded in the spring semester to a student who will enter MS in the following fall. See application for additional criteria. Approx. 20 hrs per week in the fall and spring semesters.
Application Process: Contact director of the MS for an application package.
Deadline: April 1
Notification: April 30

Geneseo Graduate Academic Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Criteria: Demonstrated academic success
Application Process: No scholarship application; simply submit application for admission
Deadline: Rolling

Residence Life Employment

Residence Director

Amount: $12,000 stipend per year and $300 meal stipend per semester
Criteria: Work is not to exceed 20 hours per week
Application Process: Complete the online application.
Deadline: January 1, but rolling until February 1
Notification: Interviews begin February 1
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in Geneseo's MS in Accounting Program. Residence hall staff experience preferred.

Amount: Up to $10,000 towards tuition and living expenses
Criteria: Work is not to exceed 20 hours per week
