We welcome your visit to campus to give you a more comprehensive understanding of what Geneseo has to offer graduate students.

SUNY Geneseo is just a short drive from the major metropolitan area of Rochester. Rochester and its surrounding area is home to more than 1 million people who enjoy world-class dance and theatre, live music for all tastes, more than 12,000 acres of park land, shopping, professional sports, and Fortune 1000 companies.

Geneseo is easily accessible from the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) Interstate 390, and the Greater Rochester International Airport.

The Graduate Admissions Office is located in Room 200 of Doty Hall on the SUNY Geneseo campus. You can contact the office by phone (585-245-5040) or email (GradAdmissions@geneseo.edu).

Regular business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the academic year.  Summer business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. from approximately mid-May to mid-August.

Area Information

To assist you as you prepare for your visit to Geneseo, we are happy to provide some helpful information, including driving directions and information about lodging and dining options. You may also want to know a little more about our community as well as area attractions. We hope this helps your planning.

Parking

Visitor parking is available in any non-reserved space in Lots ZZ, T, and I. For an interactive visual, visit the Admissions Visitors Lot (Lot ZZ) in Google Maps. Upon arriving on campus, please come directly to the Admissions Office on the second floor of Doty Hall.

Self-Guided Tours

If you find yourself visiting when the Admissions Office is closed, we can still help you! To take our Self-Guided Tour, go to Milne Library or the University Police Office in Schrader Hall to pick up a map. A digital map of the SUNY Geneseo campus is also available on the website. For a copy of the Geneseo Campus Security and Fire Safety Report, please visit the University Police Department website.
