What is SIAM at Geneseo?
SIAM at Geneseo is the student-run chapter of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. The main purpose and goals of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics is to promote research in mathematics and advance the application of mathematics into science, industry, and academia. Geneseo's Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics chapter was established in September of 2021. This chapter has brought students together from all fields of science, technology, and mathematics to help fulfill the goals of the national chapter of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. As a member of our student chapter at Geneseo, you can become a member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics for free.
