Middle States Timeline

  • March 2020: Working group membership complete, working group charges delivered
  • April 2020:  Self Study Design Preparation visit from Middle States VP Liaison
  • May 2020: Outline of each chapter, which institutional priorities and outcomes will be included, what documentation is needed 
  • Fall 2020: Gather documentation, updates to outline, begin writing 
  • March 15, 2021: First draft of each chapter due; share with steering committee
  • April, 2021: Steering committee - “second readers” for Chapters give feedback,
  • Summer 2021: Steering committee reads all chapters, second drafts begin
  • August 15, 2021: Second draft of each chapter due; 
  • October 4, 2021: Share with campus (Targeted Meetings) and visiting team chair
  • October 18, 2021:  Visiting team chair visits campus and reviews self-study draft
  • November, 2021: Incorporate feedback, update with most recent data available
  • February 2022:  Self Study finalized, shared with college community and visiting team
  • April 3-6, 2022: Evaluation Team virtual campus visit
