Audition Information
The Department of Music & Musical Theatre welcomes all interested students to audition for entrance into the BA in Music (Music Performance focus), the BPS in Musical Theatre, and the BA in Musical Theatre. There is no audition requirement for entrance into the BA in Music with a focus in Musicology/HiTEC; Jazz and American Music Studies; or Business, Recording, and Production. A brief audition helps us place you with the right studio teacher, in the right ensemble, and at the right level of instruction based on your background, interests, and goals so that you can benefit the most from your music studies at Geneseo. We are eager to hear you, so come out and play or sing (we’re a friendly bunch)!
