Tell us about yourself. Where you live now, career, and/or family news. What have you been up to since you left Geneseo?
I still live in Horseheads - my hometown. I have worked at Able2 (supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities) for almost 32 years. I retired from my second job as a dance teacher in September. My daughter, Jayme, graduated from Geneseo in May (Class of 2020).

What motivates you to work hard?
My job is all about the people we support - helping them achieve goals and dreams is both motivating and rewarding.

What trait do you like most about yourself?
My compassion for others

Who are your heroes in real life?
My Mom - she is battling 2 cancers and she still focuses on the good things in each day.

What are you passionate about?
Photography, nature, being a caregiver

Are you related or distantly related to anyone famous?
I don't think I am.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why?
1983 - the year I graduated from high school and started at Geneseo - it was a great year and a simpler, carefree time.

What kitchen appliance do you use every day?
Microwave

Who is your favorite author?
This is a tough one - I love reading - right now, I'm enjoying CJ Box immensely

What was your favorite class or professor at Geneseo?
My dance classes were my favorites - Professor Lancos was an inspiration!
