Friday | June 5, 2026

10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Reunion Welcome Center Open in the MacVittie College Union
Sign in and pick up your name tag, reunion swag, itinerary, campus maps, meal tickets, and more! All guests are required to check in at the Welcome Center upon arrival. Your reunion name tag is your admission ticket to all free weekend events.

If you have booked on-campus housing, you will receive instructions at the Welcome Center on how, where, and when to check in to the residence halls. You must first collect your Reunion credentials before checking in.

10 a.m. College Bookstore & Starbucks Open

Visit the College Bookstore in the MacVittie College Union to stock up on Geneseo swag! Receive a 10% discount on apparel when you present your reunion name tag. Open until 4 p.m.

Swing by Starbucks and grab a cup of coffee or a treat. Open until 2 p.m.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Academic Buildings Open

Explore Bailey, Brodie, Newton, ISC, Welles, Fraser, and South Hall.

⭐ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. 50th Reunion Campus Tours

Sign up for an official 25-minute campus tour via golf cart hosted by a Reunion assistant. Four passengers max per cart. Tours start at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. and depart from the Welcome Center.

12 – 4 p.m. Live on Stage at SUNY Geneseo Exhibit Reprised

For years, SUNY Geneseo has been host to an incredible line-up of events, including big-name concerts, world-renowned speakers, and famous performing artists. Stop by the ballroom lounge in the MacVittie College Union to check out memorable concert posters and more than 7,000 contracts from performers (1966-2021).

⭐ 2 – 3 p.m. 50th Reunion Gathering

Gather with classmates to reminisce, laugh, and share life stories since graduation.

2:30 – 4 p.m. Department / Office Meet and Greets

⭐ 5 – 7 p.m. Class of ’76 50th Reunion Dinner at the MacVittie College Union 🎟️

Alumni from the Class of 1976 are invited to a celebratory dinner to commemorate their 50th Reunion. Spend meaningful time with classmates and enjoy a relaxing and informal dinner.

🎟️ $30 per person (registration required)

8 – 10 p.m. Reunion Kickoff at the Big Tree Inn

Meet up with your friends and “kickoff” Reunion Weekend in style. Enjoy music by Dave Turner Live and dance the night away to songs from across the decades. A cash bar and tavern menu will be available for purchase.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • New in 2026 — this is a private event for registered Reunion guests only. Your reunion name tag is your admission ticket to this event. Please plan to pick up your credentials at the Reunion Welcome Center (MacVittie College Union) in advance.
  • Every guest should be prepared to show proof of age when purchasing an alcoholic beverage at any/all reunion events.

9 – 11 a.m. u002du002d Milne Library Open House u002du002d Milne Library

After a $40 million renovation, Milne Library has reopened as a stunning, 21st-century space. Explore the library, learn more about the renovation, and grab a coffee at Books and Bites Cafe!

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. u002du002d Saturday Morning Activity Block

  • GK Fun Run / Walk
    “Geneseo Knights” [GK] are invited to take a scenic and leisurely jog or walk through campus. Maps provided, approximate distance 5K. This is not competitive or timed.
    Location: Meet at the College Stadium
  • Historic Village Walking Tour
    Hosted by community members Jim & Anita Whitehead. Learn about the history of Main Street and some of our village’s most iconic buildings and businesses.
    Location: Meet at Cosmic Charlie Cafe, 2 School Street (formerly GJ’s and Sundance Books)

10 – 11 a.m. u002du002d Campus Construction Updates u002du002d Milne Library Multi-Purpose Room

Learn about current and upcoming campus construction projects. See renderings of Sturges Hall and learn what departments and offices will move into this updated and redesigned space.

  • North Campus Infrastructure Project
  • Milne Library and future plans for Blake
  • Brodie Hall Cafe

Enjoy self-guided tours and exploration of the following buildings: Bailey, Brodie, Newton, ISC, Welles, Fraser and South
The Halal Shack, located in Brodie Hall, will be open for cash sales on Saturday.

Join us to celebrate all eras and Geneseo’s forever friendships! Enjoy lunch with old friends and new and celebrate the 2025 SGAA award recipients. Buffet luncheon included.

2 – 5 p.m. u002du002d Annual All-Alumni Block Party u002du002d Center Street (rain or shine)

An outdoor party like no other! Celebrate the spirit of the Geneseo community with alumni and friends. Enjoy a cash bar, refreshments booth and DJ. No matter when you graduated, this block party will take you back to your college days.
