Dean's List and President's List

The Dean's & President's List is a way for students to be recognized for academic achievement within a given semester.

Making the Lists


Dean's List

A student will be named to the Dean's List for a fall or spring semester if, during that semester, the student has:

  • carried 12 or more hours in courses earning quality points (P/F and S/U grades do not count toward quality points or GPA)
  • received no final grades of D, E, U, or F
  • received no grade of I (Incomplete) in any course 
  • attained a semester's grade point average of 3.50 - 3.49

President's List

 Students named to the President's List receive a letter of commendation from the President of the College. A student will be named to the President's List for a fall or spring semester if, during that semester, the student has:

  • carried 12 or more hours in courses earning quality points (P/F and S/U grades do not count toward quality points or GPA)
  • received no final grades of D, E, U, or F
  • received no grade of I (Incomplete) in any course 
  • attained a semester's grade point average of 4.0
Note:
  • Student's on the President's List are not included on the Dean's List as the President's List is a higher standard.
  • These lists are not compiled for Summer Sessions or Intersession.
