Hometown: Lancaster, NY

Profile: Mike earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Canisius College in Buffalo then enjoyed a stint in advertising before returning to his alma mater to begin a career in college admissions.  During his 20-plus years at Canisius, he earned a master's degree in educational administration while developing expertise in enrollment management, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Fun Fact: Mike began donating blood in his senior year of high school. During his junior year of college, a friend who was studying to be a phlebotomist encouraged him to donate platelets. Later that year he made his first donation and has been donating platelets since. He recently made his 180th donation of whole blood or platelets.

Hannah Smith

Hometown: Bayport, NY

Profile: Hannah graduated with a B.A. in Adolescent Education in English from SUNY Geneseo in May 2023 and is currently pursuing her Master's in B-12 Reading and Literacy at Geneseo. During her time at Geneseo, Hannah has become a member of Sigma Tau Delta (an international English honor society) as well as Kappa Delta Pi (an honor society in Education) and is currently the Historian for the Geneseo chapter of Kappa Delta Pi. Hannah has also been a Captain of Gajjda Bhangra (a dance team here at Geneseo) since the Spring of 2022 and a member since the Spring of 2020.

Upon earning her master's degree, Hannah hopes to be a middle school ELA teacher.

Fun Facts: Hannah has been dancing in some capacity since she was 5, has seen Taylor Swift on her reputation tour, and has read the Harry Potter books at least 5 times each (not counting The Cursed Child, which she refuses to take as cannon), and rewatches Gilmore Girls every fall (team Logan).
