Meet The Team

His primary research interest is in that of human memory, including topics such as episodic memory, spatial memory, recollection and familiarity, forgetting, computational models of memory, and the neuropsychological basis of memory. He has conducted numerous studies on these topics and developed research software suites to study human spatial memory.

Madeleine is a new research assistant from the University of Rochester, where she is a junior majoring in linguistics and minoring in ASL. She is working on a project that analyzes the relationship between signing and memory. After her undergraduate career is complete, Madeleine plans to pursue a master's degree in speech-language pathology and a career in pediatric speech therapy. 

Ryan is a research assistant and a senior psychology major in the Edgar Fellows Honors Program. He is currently working on a project involving political rhetoric and the production effect. After graduation, Ryan plans on pursuing social work. 

Clarissa is a junior psychology major and sociology minor. She is new to the lab and plans to study mental health counseling in graduate school.

Laine is a sophomore at University of Rochester majoring in American Sign Language and Brain and Cognitive Sciences. She is new to the research assistant team this year. She's hoping to eventually become an interpreter or work with kids with language deprivation.

Juliana is a senior psychology major at SUNY Geneseo. She is currently studying the effects of sign language on memory enhancement in the lab and plans to attend graduate school to study clinical psychology after her time at Geneseo.
