The Rochester Regional Library Council (RRLC) has awarded Fraser Hall Library, SUNY Geneseo (formerly known as Milne Library) the award for 2021 Academic Library of the Year.

“…it was very compelling, telling the story of the adversity faced by the library with the asbestos closure, moving the library, closing the campus due to COVID, and processing collections into two different storage areas. Throughout this tumult, the staff worked tirelessly to continue to provide access to the library’s materials and support students and faculty in the virtual environment.” -- Rochester Regional Library Council

“I am so proud and privileged to be working with such an incredible team of dedicated library staff members. We’ve gone through so many challenges just in the last 18 months that some libraries may go through in their lifetime. However, we persevered, stayed together, worked hard to provide the best library services to our users.” -- Corey Ha, Library Director

The Rochester Regional Library Council is a multi-type library network serving libraries and library systems in the five-county Rochester region – Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
