C. Wright Mills Academic Achievement Award
This year's C. Wright Mills Academic Achievement Award was presented to Alia Aeid. This award was given to her in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement in Sociology.

This year's W.E.B. DuBois Award was presented to Chelsea Sader and Nicole Horn. This award was given to them in recognition of their leadership and departmental service.
Jane Addams Community Service Award
This year's Jane Addams Award was presented to Sara Curtis. This award was given to her in recognition of her outstanding community service.
Promising Sociologist
The Department of Sociology created this award to recognize those students who show not only exceptional promise, as so many students do, but who also actively use their sociological imagination. This award was presented to Anne Clarke, William Planeta, and Ashley Quinlan.
