Women's Leadership Institute

Women's Leadership Institute (WLI) was developed in the fall of 2007 to address the needs of SUNY Geneseo female students in leadership positions or seeking to obtain a position of leadership on the SUNY Geneseo campus. 

The fundamental belief of WLI is that young women of diverse backgrounds need to look within themselves, assess who they are and what their purpose is, and work towards creating their destinies, rather than allowing their lives to “happen to” them.  WLI is a support network for women to explore what it means to be a leader, a woman, and a change agent.
