Computer Repair Procedure

CIT works with Apple Authorized Service Providers and Dell Service Partners. This allows CIT to arrange free in-warranty service, performed in strict accordance with Apple and Dell's policies and procedures for college-owned equipment.

Procedure

College Owned Equipment
CIT will arrange for the repair of broken college-owned equipment during or after the warranty period. There are no charges associated with in-warranty repairs. If the equipment to be repaired is not under warranty, or the equipment's warranty has been voided by accidental damage, departments will be charged for the repair.

Personally Owned Equipment
CIT is unable to repair personally owned equipment. CIT suggests you return any other type of equipment to the dealer from whom it was purchased. We are happy to recommend additional service providers upon request.
