I’m a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox; can’t wait to meet you!

SARA REPPENHAGEN (Class of 2019)

Major: Communication

Concentration: Personal & Professional

Minor: Conflict Studies/Conflict Management

Hi everyone, my name is Sara and I’m from Tully, NY, where there are more cows than people! In my four years at Geneseo, I have tried every club from swing dance to circus, but I decided to stick with my strengths and play club volleyball. This summer, I studied abroad in Vienna and traveled around Europe for two months, but my favorite place to see was Malta. I can’t wait to meet you!

CATE SHIELDS (Class of 2019)

Majors: History & Communication

Concentration: Journalism & Media Studies

Fashion guru. Sarcasm connoisseur. Determined dreamer. Afraid of animatronic dinosaurs and cheese on pizza. I am an avid skier and hiker, but on most days, I like to sit down with a nitro cold brew coffee and watch Last Week Tonight. Come say hi!

JACK TATE (Class of 2019)

Major: Psychology & Sociology

Minor: Conflict Studies/Conflict Management

I can be found pretty much everywhere all over campus- usually out for a run with the cross-country team or giving a tour! If I’m not running or walking backwards, I’m usually spending my time at concerts, petting cats, on twitter or napping in Bailey Hall. Talk to me about Brooklyn Nine-Nine, any kind of music (except country!) and especially food and you'll soon be deep in conversation. I also serve as the captain of the cross-country team, work in a research lab and am a member of the Psych Club Executive Board.

Academic Peer Mentors host workshops, too!

Consider inviting peer mentors to your next club meeting or residence hall event. They can customize workshops to fit your group. Workshops we can offer include, but are not limited to:

  1. Setting and exceeding academic goals
  2. Bouncing back: Developing a growth mindset when academic setbacks occur
  3. Beyond re-reading the textbook: Effective study strategies to ace that next exam
  4. Overcoming procrastination
  5. Study smarter, not harder
