Technology-Fee-Funded Projects/Equipment

The Technology Fee, which is part of the Undergraduate Comprehensive Fee, provides support of the internet, wired and wireless networks, technology infrastructure, electronic library services, computer labs, classroom technology, KnightWeb, learning management system, Microsoft Office licensing, lynda.com licensing, academic software licensing, HelpDesk, and emergency communications.

Each fall, the Provost's Office accepts requests from campus departments for funding from the Technology Fee resources for the purchase of computer hardware, software, and improvements to infrastructure that advance teaching and learning on campus.

The Provost's Advisory Committee on Information Technology meets to review the requests for funding and selects projects/equipment that will serve a significant number of students and make teaching with technology easier and more effective.
