• Mission: Livingston Arts has been Livingston County's official arts council for 45 years. The mission of the arts council is to enrich the quality of life in the Livingston County area by encouraging and promoting the arts and cultural activities through support of artists, schools, and community groups.

• Additional Information: Livingston Arts hosts the New Deal Gallery, a collection of over 200 Depression-era paintings commissioned by the Works Progress Administration during the Depression under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Livingston Arts also awards and administers grants for artists of all media from school age to professional artists in residence in both Monroe and Livingston Counties.
