Geneseo Goes to Town
Saturday, April 9, 10 AM - 2 PM
Geneseo Goes to Town is our our annual service day for the entire campus. We seek to get our students engaged in service projects in all 17 town and 9 villages in Livingston County on one day. Sign up as an individual or as part of a team to engage in projects like spring cleanup, painting, preparing parks and gardens, contributing to a group art project, many other tasks and hands-on activities across the region.
With Civic Engagement as one of Geneseo's values, this event is a great way connect with communities and individuals outside of the College and to engage in meaningful service work with your peers.
Registration coming soon!
Relay for Life
Saturday, April 30, Wilson Ice Arena
Relay For Life is the world's largest volunteer-based fundraising event. For more than 36 years, communities across the world have come together to honor and remember loved ones and take action for lifesaving change. We strive to make this event as safe as possible and will follow local COVID related guidelines.
Teams and individuals sign up and pledge to participate in this annual Geneseo tradition! At Relay For Life students, faculty, and staff will walk around a track and occupy the arena in solidarity with the many individuals whose lives have been impacted by cancer. You'll have the opportunity to cheer for local survivors (or participate as a survivor) in our first lap of the day. Caregivers of cancer patients (currently or previously diagnosed) will then be invited to join the Survivors. Local entertainers and activities will keep you energized. Join our local effort to support this national event to fundraise & fight back!
