Dr. Schinski has research interests in corporate finance, stock options, and the impact of Federal Reserve policies on the Banking industry. His research has been published in scholarly journals including, The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, the Journal of Economics and Finance, Financial Practice and Education, The Engineering Economist, and Research in Finance.

Dr. Schinski has served as the faculty advisor to the Finance Club and as Director of the Career Advisement Program. He oversees the Annual School of Business Career Fair and the School of Business Golf Tournament. He was instrumental in starting the SMIF program (Student Managed Investment Fund). Prior to going into academics, Dr. Schinski worked in the fields of Banking and Economic Development. B.B.A., M.B.A. The University of Toledo. Ph.D., Finance, University of Kentucky.
