Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Dining Services

CAS is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 and adhering to specific recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization, and the NYS Department of Health (DOH), along with guidance from SUNY and the Governor of New York. 

Under these circumstances, we will be encouraging a no-contact ordering system at Starbucks to protect the safety of our employees and customers. Thank you for your understanding during this trying time.

Office Hours

To protect the safety of our customers and employees, CAS will be adjusting our office hours to by appointment only. Customers can call us at 585-245-5648 to set up an appointment time for any needs, including ID cards or other paperwork. We will return all calls within one business day. All departmental transactions will be addressed by appointment as well. CAS will be reaching out to departments to determine the best process for continued service. 

The CAS offices will not be open beyond scheduled appointments. CAS is working remotely, as per guidelines in place across the state, and will be monitoring and responding to emails and calls during regular business hours.

Refund Update

SUNY Geneseo will make COVID-19 adjustments to student accounts before the end of the semester. For many students, the College will issue a credit/refund depending on the account balance.

To expedite a refund, students should sign up for direct deposit now if they don’t already have it. Instructions are available on the Student Accounts webpage.    

The College will process refunds for students enrolled in direct deposit first. Paper checks will be mailed to students not enrolled in direct deposit approximately 4–6 weeks after account adjustments are made.
