Every Day HERO Award

The CSEA Everyday HERO (Honest, Enthusiastic, Reliable, Ordinary) Award program is designed to recognize employees that deserve acknowledgement for their continuous hard work, dependability, and positive contribution to the workplace.

Two Everyday HERO Awards will be given on an annual basis. Employees who are members of the CSEA Local 608 with at least 5 years of service to the college and have not won the award in the previous 10 years are eligible for this award. The Everyday HERO Award Program was developed as part of a joint local CSEA Labor Management initiative.

Two HEROs will be chosen by you, the College Community, on a semi-annual basis using this online nomination form. Each member of the College Community may nominate two individuals from the list of eligible employees that appear in the drop down located on the Everyday HERO Nomination Form. Please select one nominee from the secretarial/clerk category and one from the facilities services/maintenance category.

The HEROs will receive a special parking sign by his/her parking spot, a “Hero” (submarine) party for up to ten guests, an all-purpose sporting events pass to Geneseo games good for one year, a gift card, and two movie passes to the Geneseo Theatre.
