Transfer Student Ambassador Program

Adjusting to a new campus and culture can be a challenge. The Transfer Student Ambassadors are designed to assist you with that transition and serve as a resource.

The goal of the Transfer Student Ambassadorship (TSA) program is to provide new transfer students opportunities for immediate connections across campus. New transfer students will be paired with a current transfer student who will provide insight, guidance, and resources for navigating their first semester at Geneseo. The TSAs work closely with the Transfer Student Mentor program to provide engagement opportunities, linking transfer students to their peers in the Geneseo community and assisting them in assimilating to the Geneseo campus culture. TSAs create meaningful experiences for students and communicate important campus information and events to transfer students through various forms of communication. 

Beginning Spring 2023, every new transfer student will be assigned a TSA. Be on the lookout for an email from them!

One piece of advice for new transfer students: Get involved! Joining clubs right away my first semester on campus (as a transfer student) really helped me to feel connected to the campus and to make new friends.
