Center for Languages and Cultures honors peer tutors

In 2017-18, over 35 students earned a certificate for volunteering at least 20 hours of their time and talent to tutoring their peers in French, Spanish, German, Russian and Chinese.  Leah Rhoads, a dedicated student from the LIVES program who attends Spanish 101 classes, was also recognized .  Likewise featured in the group photo is Andrea Pineda Figueroa, our resident artist and work-study student who painted the mural in the Welles basement hallway.
