Student Teaching in Alaska

SUNY Geneseo Teacher Candidates interested in a student teaching experience in Alaska through SUNY College at Brockport should contact the School of Education Office of Field Experiences.  An Out-of-Area application through the Office of Field Experiences is required.  This application includes a minimum GPA of 2.5, faculty recommendations, and an essay.

This opportunity is a cost-effective opportunity to student teach outside of New York State; furthermore, the Alaska program is a full semester program (with consideration for a partial semester placement for Childhood with Special Education candidates) with one of several partner school district.
