Hi! My name is Chalia and I am a senior Sociology major form Manhattan, New York. Even though I love the city, Geneseo has become my home away from home and I've learned to love this little town with the best sunsets. A fun fact about me is that I love coffee and can usually be found with a cup of coffee in my hands, or a strawberry acai with lemonade from Starbucks. My favorite place on campus has to be Sturges. If I'm not in class or in the Union, there is about a 90% chance I am in Sturges. I am part of the executive board for Minority Association of Pre-Health Students and the Women's Leadership Institute. I am also a peer mentor for the Access Opportunity Program.

My name is Jessica Buffamonti and I am a junior Political Science major, Business Studies minor from Buffalo, NY. I really enjoy Geneseo giving me feelings of immersion, community, and cooperation, and it doesn't hurt that campus is relatively close to my hometown as well. I participate in a variety of student organizations across campus, including: Model United Nations, WGSU 89.3, College Republicans, Orchesis, The Lamron, and Red Cross Club. Also, I am the treasurer for the Club Sports Association here on campus, being a former member of the Club Tennis and Club Crew teams. Although it can be a lot sometimes, being a member in these unique clubs is so enriching to my experience here.
In my honest opinion, becoming involved at Geneseo allows students to discover themselves and find a niche here in conjunction with their academic education. I am looking forward to working with the student population, from established organizations to new students looking for a club to join, and assisting them the best I can as a Student Involvement Mentor!
