New Employee:  To-Do List Within 30 days of Hire Date

Performance Program

1. Schedule a meeting with your supervisor within 30 days of your hire date to review your performance program and goals for the coming year. Once complete, you should retain a copy and the original, signed form needs to be sent to Human Resources. 

Have You Finished Your Benefits Elections?
  1. Health Insurance 
  2. If you receive your dental and vision benefits from a union benefit trust fund (UUP & CSEA), be sure to complete enrollment with your union benefit trust fund.
  3. Retirement Programs 
New Employee Training

Biz Library - During your first few weeks here at SUNY Geneseo, you will receive an email from BizLibrary with a link to complete New Hire Compliance training. 

In addition to compliance, BizLibrary offers thousands of courses to assist with your professional development. Many courses are 15 minutes or less!
