Professor Vallejo-Alegre receives Chancellor's Award

Professor María del Rocío Vallejo-Alegre, lecturer in Spanish (pictured in center below, with Professors Bernard and Adams), was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching for the 2016-17 academic year. This system-wide honor recognizes consistently superior professional achievement and encourages the ongoing pursuit of excellence. Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher presents awards annually to faculty and staff in seven categories: teaching; adjunct in teaching; faculty service; scholarship and creative activities; professional service; librarianship; and classified service. Professor Vallejo has been a member of the Geneseo faculty since 2008.
