SUNY Geneseo’s Department of Theatre and Dance proudly presents the Geneseo Dance Ensemble in Shifting Perspectives, featuring works by student choreographers with 31 performers.
Ten SUNY Geneseo students will serve as Presidential Scholars for the 2023–24 academic year. The students represent a variety of academic areas and exemplify the college’s institutional values. Presidential Scholars are top-achieving members of the senior class who also serve as ambassadors for the College.
To receive the honor, students must demonstrate a commitment to Geneseo’s values including:
President Denise A. Battles announced the public launch of SUNY Geneseo's largest-ever fundraising campaign, Opportunities Rising: Geneseo for Generations at the Kodak Theater in Rochester. With a goal of 45 million dollars, the campaign will support the college's strategic plan by elevating access, creating experiences, and demonstrating impact.

Laura D’Amico ’18, who majored in biology with a minor in dance studies, has won a 2023–24 Fulbright US Student Study/Research award for Italy. The fellowship is highly competitive and the first Geneseo award to Italy.
The State University of New York recognized Geneseo men’s lacrosse player Trevor Bollinger ’24, from Ithaca, NY, as the SUNY Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for Division III institutions. Two overall winners from each division were selected from student-athletes previously recognized as SUNY Scholar Athletes in 29 different sports from the fall, winter, and spring athletic seasons.
After a competitive national search, SUNY Geneseo has named Clifton Harcum as its new director of multicultural affairs, beginning June 22.
