Chuck Hazlett
Director of Programs, Personnel, and Finances
- Chuck works under the direction of the Undergraduate Student Association President and Executive Committee Advisor, serving as a primary resource to the SA Executive Committee, student leaders, and the broader student body.
- Chuck provides comprehensive financial oversight, including collaborating on the development of the annual Student Association budget, implementing Executive Committee–approved financial decisions, conducting forecasting and planning with the fiscal agent, and reviewing monthly financial statements and check requests.
- Chuck advises and supports student organizations by communicating financial policies and procedures, auditing organization accounts for compliance, and providing ongoing training to organization presidents, treasurers, and funded representatives.
- Chuck serves in key advisory and leadership roles, including ad hoc advisor to the SA Finance Committee and Co-Chair of the Student Association Fee Review Committee, while educating incoming Executive Committee members on the Association’s fiscal status.
- Chuck hires, supervises, and coordinates SA employees, including the Administrative Assistant, student employees, and Ticket Office staff; develops and implements formal orientation, search, and selection procedures in collaboration with supervising staff.
- Chuck supports the planning and coordination of Student Association programs and activities, working directly with student organizations on event and programming logistics and serving as a resource for SA leaders.
- Chuck manages contracts and relationships with external service providers (e.g., transportation and ticketing services) and interacts directly with students to assess needs and facilitate access to SA services and programs.
