Two Geneseo alumni were inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame last week.
Craig Stevens '84 earned his BA in communication and public relations at SUNY Geneseo and served as the station manager of WGSU-FM. After graduating, he landed his first job at WDNY in Dansville, NY. In 1986, Stevens took the helm of WCDO AM/FM in Sidney, NY, where he remained for 37 years.
Dan Cummings '76 earned his BA in communication at SUNY Geneseo and, after a 45-year run, signed off from WSYR-TV (ABC), NewsChannel 9, in Syracuse in 2021. Cummings dedication earned him two Emmy awards and a regional Edward R. Murrow award, among several other recognitions.
