Chemistry Department Chemical Waste Procedures
It is imperative that all individuals handling and disposing of hazardous chemical waste are trained annually by the designated Chemistry Department Safety Trainer.
Individuals who have not been trained or are not up to date on their training for how to dispose of hazardous chemicals must not utilize chemicals in a laboratory setting in the Chemistry Department at SUNY Geneseo.
Several trainings are scheduled within the first three weeks of every academic Fall and Spring semesters, please contact your lead professor and/or the Chemistry Department Safety Trainer, Daniel Jacques, if you have any questions.
