The Princeton Review has named SUNY Geneseo one of the Best 387 Colleges in 2022.

Washington Monthly magazine has named SUNY Geneseo number one on its annual ranking based on what schools do for the country.

SUNY Geneseo has been named a Top Producer of U.S. Student Fulbright awards for the fourth time in the college’s history and the fourth consecutive year.

The Chronicle of Higher Education recently recognized SUNY Geneseo as ninth in the nation for four-year graduation rates at highly residential public institutions.

Geneseo is again designated a “Voter Friendly Campus” for 2019-2020 through a program sponsored by NASPA — Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project. 

SUNY Geneseo has again made several of U.S. News & World Report’s regional ranking lists. The College ranked third in the “Top Public Schools” in the North, retaining the same high rank earned in 2020.

<em>Washington Monthly</em> magazine has named SUNY Geneseo to three of its 2020 rankings and honor lists.

The Princeton Review selected SUNY Geneseo for inclusion in its 2021 edition of <em>The Best 386 Colleges</em>. The College also appears on the ranking company's Best Regional Colleges in the Northeast list.

SUNY Geneseo is featured in the latest edition of Fiske Guide to Colleges. The College was selected for its outstanding educational value and high-quality academics.

SUNY Geneseo is in the top 100 on Business First's list of the nation’s top public colleges, ranking 66th out of 485 four-year public institutions in the country.

SUNY Geneseo ranked No. 8 among medium-sized schools on the agency’s list of top 25 volunteer-producing colleges and universities in 2020. For the past six years, Geneseo has consistently ranked within the top 25 medium-sized schools. This year marks the highest ranking for the College since entering the ranks in 2014. There are 25 alums currently volunteering in countries around the world.

For the third time in the college’s history and the third consecutive year, SUNY Geneseo has been named a Top Producer of U.S. Student Fulbright awards, the State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announced in its annual article in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

SUNY Geneseo has been named among the most environmentally responsible colleges by The Princeton Review. The College has consistently been included in the annual guide since it was first published in 2010.

Washington Monthly magazine has again ranked SUNY Geneseo second overall among master’s universities for its contributions to the public good across three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service. To be at the top of the ranking, colleges need to “be excellent across the full breadth of our measures, rather than excelling in just one measure,” the editors note. It’s the seventh year in a row that Geneseo has been in the top five of their classification.

SUNY Geneseo has again been selected by The Princeton Review as a "Best College" for undergraduate education. Geneseo also appears on their Best Regional Colleges list for the Northeast and 399 Green Colleges list.

SUNY Geneseo has been named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s list of the Top 400 Best College Values for 2019, ranking 96th on the comprehensive list of the nation's public and private colleges.

SUNY Geneseo has been named to Forbes’ 2019 “America’s Best Value Colleges” list, ranking 115th on the comprehensive list of 300 public and private colleges, up from 175th when Forbes first began the ranking in 2016. The College ranks fifth out of the ten SUNY institutions on the list.

SUNY Geneseo appears in the 2020 edition of Fiske Guide to Colleges. Inclusion in the guide as a “best and most interesting” college is based on the quality of academic offerings and includes students’ social and quality-of-life ratings.

SUNY Geneseo is on a list of the nation’s top public colleges, ranking 65th out of 505 four-year public institutions in the country and 19th among the 73 eastern region colleges on the survey, compiled by <em>Business First</em>, a Buffalo-based publication. The 2019 survey results were based on academic excellence, affordability, diversity, and economic strength.

SUNY Geneseo is ranked No. 13 among medium-sized schools on the Peace Corps’ 2019 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list. Currently, 22 Geneseo alumni are volunteering with the worldwide program.

The College was named to <em>Washington Monthly’s</em> "2018 America’s Best Colleges For Student Voting" list. This is a first-of-its-kind list of the colleges and universities that are doing the most to help their students become engaged citizens.

SUNY Geneseo is included in the newly released 2018 edition of The Princeton Review’s Guide to 399 Green Colleges. The College has consistently been included in the annual guide since it was first published in 2010.

For the seventh year in a row, the College has been named as a Lead Institution in civic engagement by NASPA. Geneseo is one of 72 colleges and universities in the U.S. chosen as a Lead Institution. The College was honored for its ongoing commitment to developing socially responsible citizens through its curriculum and co-curricular programs.
