Knight Vision

Knight Vision is a series of events to support students as they begin to look beyond Geneseo.  It is a collaboration with Student Life, Career Development, Financial Aid, and the GOLD Leadership Program.

Learning Outcomes

1. Students who participate in Knight Vision will gain skills and confidence in navigating their current and future financial situations.

2. Students will build their professional network and portfolio to prepare for jobs after graduation.

3. Students will practice valuable life skills to cope with stress and anxiety outside of the work and school environment.

Spring Semester Events

Cookin' It Up with Student Life - March 7 @ 6 PM; MJ Dining Hall

Join CAS chefs and learn how to cook a meal on a budget!  Space is limited! Sign up at go.geneseo.edu/cookinitup.

Etiquette Dinner with Career Development - March 12 @ 6 PM; Big Tree Inn

Enjoy a free dinner and network with alumni and current faculty and staff as you learn the ins and outs of professionalism in the dining setting.  Space is limited, sign up on the GOLD website.

Be a Financially Savvy Knight - March 26 @ 2:30 AND March 27 @ 11; on campus

There are a lot of uncertainties in managing your financial future: from paying off student loans to avoiding credit card debt to buying a car.  Come hear from the Financial Aid office about how to plan for the future.  Sign up on the GOLD website.

Networking at Knight - April 1 @ 5:30 pm; College Union Ballroom

Stop by the Ballroom to get a free professional headshot, meet with alumni and get tips on professional attire, networking, resume building, and more!  No need to show on time or even stop by all the tables - choose only the areas that meet your needs.

Decorate Your Cap! - TBA

Student Life is partnering with Senior Celebration Days to decorate your cap!  Reminisce about your time as a Knight and preserve the moment on your graduation cap.  All materials for decoration are provided, just bring your cap!
