Multicultural Programs and Services

The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services, part of the Center for Community, located in College Union 353 (585 245-5620), is charged with the overall coordination of programs and efforts designed to support and continuously improve campus diversity in its many forms. Issues of gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, nationality, class, as well as race and ethnicity, are addressed.

The Coordinator serves as the manager of this office and seeks to support the College's core value of diversity.  Specific attention is given to ALANA (African, Latino, Asian and Native American) students and students from under-represented backgrounds.

Office projects and programs include: Mosaic Cultural Awareness Series, Cultural Harmony Week, Hip Hop Symposium, Graduate Diversity Fellowship, Welcome Back BBQ/Mixer, and Faculty, Staff & Students of Color Meet and Greet.
