In the Social-Emotional Development Lab we study the brain systems involved in attention and social-emotional development. Our program of research is aimed at discovering behavioral and brain markers of social-emotional functioning and development.

In what aspects are student research assistants involved in your lab?
RA's learn about ongoing and past research, select research projects to get involved in or start up, learn how to collect, process, and analyze data, and communicate research findings by presenting their work to the lab, at Great Day and at other research conferences.
What skills are you looking for in student research assistants?
SED Lab research assistants have a variety of interests and backgrounds, are dedicated and self-motivated, and work closely with each other and the lab director on research projects.
