Transportation for Break
Listed below are the options for bus transportation leaving for and returning from each break. Please remember that when using any type of mass transportation, customers should recognize that delays occasionally occur and plan accordingly. Bus Transportation Options
1. RTS: Geneseo to Rochester Service
The Geneseo Off Campus Weekend Service is a free (with college ID) way to get to the Greater Rochester International Airport, Trailways Bus Terminal or Amtrak Station. No advance sign up is required as this is part of the regular route. Always refer to most up to date Geneseo Off Campus Weekend Services. Please remember, this is not always an option as this service does not run during the regular business week and on certain weekends. To make sure this is a viable option when you need it, please refer to our Bus Schedules page for a list of important service dates outlining when service is and is not available.
2. RTS: Break Shuttle
This shuttle is free with college ID, but space is limited so advance sign up through Parking & Transportation is required through RTS Break Shuttle Sign Up Google Form. Stops are made at the Greater Rochester International Airport, the Trailways Bus Terminal and the Amtrak Station.
3. SA: Break Shuttle
This shuttle is free with college ID. Space is limited so advanced sign up through the Student Association Ticket Office is required. Stops are made at the Greater Rochester International Airport, the Trailways Bus Terminal and the Amtrak Station before and after Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, the end of the Fall Semester, the beginning of the Spring Semester and Spring Break. There are no shuttles offered at the beginning of the Fall semester or the end of the Spring semester. 4. Trailways New York
Visit the Trailways website for ticket information. Buses to Rochester, Binghamton, and NYC connections are available.
5. OurBus
Visit the OurBus website for ticket information. Buses to Buffalo, Binghamton, NYC, and NJ are available daily.
